Hal:
Grew up in Dallas and attended public schools graduating from Woodrow Wilson, a historic high
school in old East Dallas.
Is married to his lovely wife Lynne, and they have four grown children and 7 grandchildren ages 4 weeks to 8 years.
Was a life long member of East Dallas Christian Church, where he served on the General Board, as a Youth Leader, and as an Elder, until he took the pastorate of Sachse Christian Church in 1996.
Parents and grandparents were Dallas residents and owned several businesses in East Dallas until their deaths.
Likes to work with his hands. There is almost nothing that at some point he hasn't taken apart to try to fix, and consequently can fix about anything.
Hobbies include water sports (skiing, boating, rafting, swimming), golf (albeit new to the game), building things, and watching old movies.
Loves to spend time with grandchildren, especially at the lake.
